At The Lancashire Doula Practice, I offer compassionate, personalised support throughout pregnancy, birth and the early weeks with your baby.
My role as a doula is to provide emotional reassurance, practical guidance and continuous support so that you feel calm, informed and supported throughout your journey into parenthood.

Birth Preparation Session
£110
A private birth preparation session designed to help you feel calm, informed and confident as you approach labour.
This session is ideal for parents who would like additional support preparing for birth. It is tailored around you and your birth preferences and we will explore practical ways to support your body and mind during labour.
Topics may include:
• Stages of labour
• Comfort techniques for labour
• Birth partner support
• Understanding birth options
• Creating your birth preferences
Sessions are tailored to your individual needs and questions. They are informal and supportive leaving you empowered and reassured.
Birth Doula Support
£1,450
Birth doula support provides continuous emotional and practical care throughout pregnancy, labour and the early postnatal period.
As your doula, I am there to offer reassurance, encouragement and comfort techniques so that you feel supported throughout your birth experience.
I work alongside midwives and healthcare professionals to ensure you feel informed, respected and confident in your choices.
This package includes:
• Free consultation to discuss your pregnancy and birth preferences
• Two antenatal preparation sessions in your home
• Unlimited support via phone or message during pregnancy
• On-call support from 38 weeks of pregnancy
• Continuous support throughout labour and birth
• Support in the immediate hours after your baby arrives
• One postnatal visit in your home to reflect on your birth experience and offer support as you settle in.
My focus is creating a calm environment and helping you feel informed and confident.
Home Labour Support
£650
Many families find the early stages of labour feel most comfortable at home. Having experienced support during this time can help you remain calm, confident and relaxed as labour unfolds.
As your doula, I provide continuous emotional and practical support in your home during labour, helping you navigate the early and active stages before you travel to hospital or your birth centre.
My role is to support both you and your birth partner, creating a calm environment and offering reassurance as labour progresses.
Support may include
• Breathing and relaxation techniques
• Massage and physical comfort measures
• Guidance with labour positions and movement
• Emotional reassurance and encouragement
• Helping partners feel confident supporting you
• Creating a calm and supportive birth environment
• Helping you decide when to leave for hospital or birth centre
Once you are ready to transfer to hospital, I will say goodbye and allow you to continue your birth journey with your medical team. I remain available by phone or message if you need reassurance.
A postnatal visit is included so we can talk through your birth experience and ensure you feel supported during the early days with your baby.
Overnight Support
£180 per night
Overnight support allows parents to get valuable rest while knowing their baby is cared for by an experienced professional.
This type of support is not for everyone. You may feel vulnerable inviting me into your home, however my purpose is to assist you to rest. I will care for your baby throughout the night, bringing them to you for feeds if needed and settle them back to sleep afterwards.
Support may Include:
- Settling and soothing baby
- Bringing baby for feeds
- Bottle feeding
- Nappy changing and resettling
- Emotional reassurance for new parents
- Light household tasks - sterilizing bottles - washing - ironing.
Hours 10pm - 6am
Postnatal Doula Support
£30 per hour
The early weeks with a newborn can be wonderful but also overwhelming.
Postnatal doula support offers gentle, practical and emotional care as you recover from birth and adjust to life with your baby.
My role is to provide reassurance, guidance and practical help so that you feel supported during this important transition.
Support may include:
• Emotional support and reassurance
• Feeding support and guidance
• Newborn care support
• Time for you to rest and recover
• Light household help
• Support for the whole family as you adjust to life with your baby
Minimum booking: 2 hours
